Solar roof or ground mounted systems can be installed on any south facing roof. Metal panels, embedded in the roof material, generate electricity. Here's how it works: active solar heating systems use solar energy to heat a fluid -- either liquid or air -- and then transfer the solar heat directly to the interior space or to a storage system for later use. If the solar system cannot provide adequate space heating, an auxiliary or back-up system provides the additional heat. Lennox has produced a system of solar cells that generate power to assist with the running load of the heat HP17 series heat pumps. They can be seen at Lennox.com.

Geothermal heating and cooling has a tremendous payback because the systems are harvesting BTUs 24 hours a day and not just when the sun is shining and or the wind is blowing. We are the original Geosource heating & cooling installer from the 1970’s in this area. We've grown with the industry as it matured and changed over the years and learned a lot about our soils and types of loop systems that work and those that don’t. We favor the vertical type loop as it works great in this area and stays out of harms way by going vertical 200 ft. down. Contact Keven for a quote on the finest in ground source heating and cooling.
