Lennox has produced a system of solar cells that generate power to assist with the running load of the heat HP17 series heat pumps. They can be seen at Lennox.com.
These systems mount on the ground or the roof and generate power.
Solar Water Heating
We can tie in solar water heating to your water heater and provide free hot water year around when the sun is shining.
The hot water can also be circulated through the floor of your house with an in-floor heating system.
PV (photo voltaic) roof mounted solar cells
These roof or ground mounted systems can be installed on any south facing roof.
There are metal roof panels that generate electricity that are embedded in the roof material.
